My hubby and I are about to close on a beautiful condo in Cancun. We have been vacationing there for 25 years, and have always dreamed of living there (mostly in the winter/early spring months). So our dream is about to come true, and I have been looking for a community of people like us, who we can connect with to make our move a bit easier. UPDATE: We have now been living in Cancun for 2 years. My hubby is there full time and I get down at least once a month until I am able to retire. We absolutely love our place and we have made some really wonderful friends, Mexican, British and American who we can depend on and who can depend on us! We belong to a wonderful parish and are active there. We are so happy with our decision to buy in Cancun. We would have paid triple what we paid for the same place in the states. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe and conveniently located. So happy to live here!
