My husband Jim and I really look forward to spending time somewhere south of the U.S. border. First to rent for a few months, so that we can best consider whether living in one of our chosen destinations might be right for us. In Mexico we've zeroed in on Queretaro City, Guanajuato City (or possibly San Miguel de Allende). Our other strong possibility is Cuenca, Ecuador. We've visited all of these places several times over the past three decades. And have loved them all! Now that I've recently retired, we hope to have a more extended stay in these locations -- renting for a couple of months, hoping to decide on a place we might want to call home. So, I've now returned to Expat.com and I'm really looking forward to good conversations with some of you! Gracias!
