I am from Wisconsin, USA and lived in various towns there until fall of 2012, when I moved to Germany. My husband is German, and for the first 6 years of our marriage we lived in separate countries while my children were still in school. I was a high school English and German teacher for 16 years, and now I am "retired". I give weekly English lessons to the employees of my husband's company and volunteer at a local school teaching English to students with learning disabilities. I love to read and travel, I have discovered that I enjoy gardening and cooking (now that I have more time for both), and I love living here in this little town on the Neckar.
