I'm originally from a town called Snellville, Georgia and spent most childhood Thanksgivings on my grandparents' pecan farm. I went to school in Washington DC where I eventually met and married a handsome Brazilian and became a Democrat. (Still not sure which development is most disturbing for my grandparents.) Now, I live in Vitoria, Brazil with my husband and daughter. I've been in Brazil almost 9 years. I'm still learning.
