Introduction
I am an American who volunteered in Bulgaria for two years, fell in love with a Bulgarian man, and married him. We now live in Gabrovo and have a young son, who is just amazing (but I suppose all mothers think that about their kids). We are looking to either build or renovate a house in the next 5 years, and are building a web development company at the moment.

Expat experience
Raising my son, looking to get involved in youth development once he is a little more independent.
I am studying at Bogazici University, finishing my degree in Sociology. I live here with my new husband, a Bulgarian man.
We've had a really difficult time with our landlord, a man who just wants to exploit foreigners. Unfortunately this has colored our entire experience and now we just can't wait to move.
I worked and lived in a village north of Plovdiv. I was involved with scouting and health projects. I did a lot of bike-tourism to natural places, hiking, and visiting really cool sites.
I love the nature, and the people.
