I'm Kari Martindale. I'm an American originally from PA, now living in Germany with my husband, Paul; my daughter, Sequoia; and my dog, Flash. I love snapping photos, jotting down thoughts both random and in-depth, and sharing my experiences with anyone interested. I've traveled a bit in my lifetime, but this is the first time I've spent any length of time in a country where I have been unable to communicate right off the bat. Debacles have ensued.
