Introduction

I was raised in SE Asia in the 60s and 70s. My wife passed way a couple of years ago, my children are all grown up and I have returned to a country I lived in when I was young. I'm currently a teacher at private school teaching; English, Geography and Business

Expat experience

Since September 2012

Medan, Indonesia

Traveled to several places and taken hundreds of photographs

Revisiting a country I lived in years ago. Seeing the natural areas and being able to enjoy them.

Not used to the humidity yet. People in Medan are rude, lazy, slobs and mostly ignorant. The garbage and the way people just throw trash everywhere and anywhere is disgusting. Almost everyone smokes.
