Born in Moscow, spent a good part of my youth in Canada, back in Moscow in 1994. Prepared people to job and immigration interviews and taught English in other circumstances when it was important to achieve result fast. Established a rural tourism and horse riding center in the Tver region and personally ran it till 2010. Maintain several travel related sites (5 of my own and 4-5 for others). Provide full range traveller support: pre-trip advice, invitations, airport pickup, with Moscow orientation and quick survival Russian. When introducing Russian to English speakers I draw parallels between the two languages to spare the client from needing to rely on memory. Too bad not many understand this approach. Available for temporary or part-time work, from no-brainers like driving (30 years of accident-free driving, 10 in Canada, and nearly 20 in Russia) to sophisticated translation and editing work to acting as a fixer for filming crews.
