Expat experience
Making friends, learning Spanish, doing some photography, writing a blog, playing in the garden, learning to cook Panamanian food, and of course exploring this country.
The people! the climate, the natural beauty all around, the laid back lower stress lifestyle, the great fresh produce and healthy food.
You need a mail service and even then it takes a while to get mail.
Work, gardening, photography, tennis, friends
Warm climate, beautiful area, great beaches, nice people, good schools and opportunities for kids, lots of things to do.
Cost of living. We couldn't afford it without us both working, and retirement there wasn't an option. Health care system getting worse and costs out of control. Depressed economy and depressed people.
