My name is Hector Franco. I work with Japanese businesses and the Japanese government to further international exchange with Japan. I also conduct tourism related market research for promoting Japanese culture in foreign countries. In my career, I’ve served as a writer, web developer, and marketing consultant for various organizations both local and international. Having worked as both a language teacher and translator, I’m also fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese. I’m the creator, director, and presenter of a web series called Discover Japan. The show explores various parts of Japanese culture and society while encouraging both tourism and life in Japan. Scheduled for release in the fall of 2013, each episode centers on a theme from Japanese culture which is explored through a number of segments or stories. I’ve also authored “Japan Living – The Ultimate Gaijin Guide to Living and Traveling in Japan”. This eBook serves as a complete resource for foreigners who wish to work and live in Japan either short or long term.
