A 50+ year old American software engineer who had been living/working in Europe for over 20+ years (mostly Italy and Germany), but now reside back in the United States (since 2022). Hopefully, my path in life will return me to Europe as I greatly love living there.

Expat experience
Daily running, exercising, and dancing with my wife, and spending as much time with my daughter before she leaves for college.
Finally, living with my family again...and hanging with my old friends.

Wonderful city and great central park to fulfill my daily running habit!
I found the Germans to be more difficult to develop relationships with than other foreigners who were living in my area downtown.
Great wine, beautiful countryside, quick access to Paris (France).

Cleanliness and crowds
Probably one of the most cosmopolitan areas in the deep Southern region of the United States.
Urban sprawl and crime.
