Hello, My name is Belinda Palmer, American citizen but born and raised in Europe. I am a teacher (French and English) but previously worked in Marketing and Sales. Currently I live and work in Istanbul, Turkey.

Expat experience
Moved there with my boyfriend to start a new life.
Being back in my birth place. Lovely scenery; good outdoor life. Very international city.
The city is too small and a lacks a bit of life.
Spending time with my family and meeting old and new friends. Great social life.
Being back in Paris.
Entering the professional world, travelling and meeting new people.
Different culture, beautiful, varied countries.
Far from my family in Europe and some values I didn't embrace.
University student.
One of the most beautiful cities in the world. Great food, great art, great culture.
In those days I didn't like being in a city.
Adolescent (14 to 18). Student (high school).
Beautiful country and lovely people.
The still very poor South and having to leave it.
Young adolescent (9 to 14). School and on an old farm.
Beautiful old farmhouse and all our animals.
Too much rain!
I was a child and young teenager.
Skying in winter and enjoying the lake in the summer.
Having to leave it and my friends.
I was born in Switzerland
