About me

Stephanie, the primary blogger, grew up in South Hadley, MA. She graduated in December 2006 from Ithaca College, where she studied journalism and Spanish. While in college, she interned for The Cape Cod Times, The Ithaca Journal, The Ithaca Times, and WWLP-TV. She also spent a semester at La Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. After graduation, she spent 18 months as a reporter at The Daily Messenger in Canandaigua, NY. Now, she is a Global Studies graduate student at Lund University, where she hopes to learn how to design health campaigns for young people in developing countries.
Kjartan received a PH.D in physics from Aarhus University in Denmark in March 2005. He later worked as a research support specialist on the Mars Exploration Rover Program at Cornell University. He is currently a researcher at the Danish Meteorological Institute in Copenhagen.
Kjartan and Stephanie met through a mutual friend in Ithaca in January 2006, were married June 20, 2008 and the rest... well, that's history that will be documented right here in cyber-space.
