Would like to look into Panama possibly to live part of the year. More or less retired depending on if I am needed to help out with my work, or not. Want to visit to go swimming also there. Believe strongly in 'green', ie. no cars, no pollution, walking, biking regardless of age, so need to be near gentle swimming and some shopping. Also love growing things, so would like to know about this. Like to live quiet, gentle life, animals, don't have to own them, just watching is fine. Life on the 'quiet side', where possible. Might want to try to own small home there to live/garden, perhaps work with locals learning Spanish and so forth. Prefer humble dwellings. Not sure if home is safe if you are not there for a while so many questions.
