I am an expatriate.I am American, and I am now living in Mexico. I am currently in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
About me
We sailed to Mexico in 1997, and the boat has been here ever since. In 2006 we made our permanent move to San Carlos in Sonora, 5 hours south of Nogales, AZ. We sail the western coast of mainland Mexico and the eastern coast of Baja several months of the year, and when we're home we play music with our friends at a local club, fix the boat, paint, do canvaswork for the boat, learn Spanish, fix the boat, and, of course, blog.
My birthday is on 11 July, I was born in 1942

We moved to a safe harbor in Mexico to be near our sailboat, "Bliss," for quick escapes and long voyages. I'm a late-blooming singer, the Capt a musician, and part of our life journey is learning to make music together. Leaving California wasn't easy, but the reward has been rediscovering my love for Mexico, music, the boat and the Captain.
