Expat experience
My wife has a 2 years contract that can probably be extended. So if she does we're planning on retiring here for good. Trento is so lovely and the people so sympatico !!!
I'm from Montreal, Quebec, Canada so I was raised in a city where you do not see much sky on account of the tall building. Here - in Trento - The Mountains can be seen from everywhere in the city. People living here do not see them anymore because the have grown accustom to see them. For me it's like looking at postcards all the time. And on top of that, the People are so genuinely nice. Even if I do not master the language yet they are patient and friendly and will try to help as much as they can. I <3 Trento !!!
I was expecting more people speaking English since it is a city with an English-Italian University... A few born Italian know a bit of English and some even French but it is rare...
