Introduction
It's hard to believe it's been nearly three years since I gave up fast-paced life in New York City and followed hubby to Bahrain and then the UAE. But here I am...living the dream (as my husband constantly reminds/teases me)! I've met a lot of amazing people in the Middle East...discovered a passion for teaching PILATES, and learned a lot about a culture far different than the one I came from. Life is good! Carpe diem!!!

Expat experience
I'm here with my husband and dog, teaching PILATES, meeting new people, learning about a new (to me) culture and chronicling it all in my blog.
Loved the crystal blue waters, sunny days, and meeting people from around the world. And shawarma from Haifa Cafeteria, of course!
Couldn't stand all the inconsiderate and awful drivers and wished the locals would treat the environment with more respect (i.e. don't waste water or electricity, don't litter, recycle, etc.).
