I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am German, and I would like to live in Thailand. I am currently in Veitsbronn.

My path

About me

I am a german national university graduate, who is searching a job in Marketing / Sales / Consulting as expat in Bangkok.

I started my basic studies in Business Administration in Germany. Facing new challenges, I changed for my main studies to the University of Zurich in Switzerland and focused on Marketing & International Management where I graduated with honor in April 2009 with the degrees Licentiate in Economics and Business Administration / Master of Arts UZH. In addition, I was able to further develop these focuses at the top rated Swiss University, the ETH Zurich. Course-related, I passed various project-oriented internships in Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland. As a result, I was able to get various experiences and insights in different branches and business areas. Furthermore, I worked in an individual student research project, focusing on Brand Marketing, whose results were used by the management as a general basis of sound product decisions. Through numerous trips abroad in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, I was able to improve existing social and language skills and gain intercultural competence, that consistently help me to respond adequately to different kinds of people and situations.

Mainly, the raising importance of the asian economy seems highly intersting and fascinating to me. The mix of cultures and people who work in that area is a great challenge that I would like to be confronted with. Having a partner from France for a long time already, who lives in Bangkok and so far travelling to that spot really often, makes the Thai capital my prefered office location. I like the local way of life as well as its culture. Now, it would be a great challenge to enter the next step of my personal development by doing business as expat in that fast-paced, diverse, innovative and rapidly growing environment.

My occupation:

MBA graduate from a top ranked swiss University, seeking a job as expat.

What I like about this destination:

Mainly, the raising importance of the asian economy seems highly intersting and fascinating to me. The mix of cultures and people who work in that area is a great challenge that I would like to be confronted with. Having been travelling to that spot really often (and been living there as well), makes the Thai capital my prefered working location. I like the local way of life as well as its culture.
