I am an expatriate.

I am British, and I am now living in the Netherlands. I am currently in Diemen.

About me

I'm English and love making English friends! online or here in Amsterdam. I am creative, inquisitive, playful, with a tacky taste for anything out of the ordinary and wyrd. I have a very British sense of humour too. I am usually very mature but I can have my childish fun moments that are sometimes anoying, tickles anyone?

My zodiac signs are a Dog (water) and Aries (fire) I find both western and eastern zodiacs interesting and fun although I have more faith in the eastern one. For strong feelings / passion I mix best with tigers, horses and pigs. For harmonious relationships rats, rabbits, monkeys and other dogs are best

I love my dog Blaze and watching sci-fi movies and reading sci-fi books. I try to play violin, I am taking lessons (since January) but need to practice a lot more. I like chatting.

I'm generally a business guy. I own 2 multimedia companies and I'm also a freelancer. But work should always be fun and not something that should get in the way of really enjoying your life when it stops being fun I shall find something else to do.

I am pretty much always considered kind, sweet and nice. That is what I have heard the most anyway. I have a tendency to try and make everyone happy but sometimes that is at the expense of myself. My more negative attributes include moodiness from time to time, somewhat cynical, a little insensitive/blunt, some arrogance and I am quickly annoyed by dumb people.

I am usually a very rational person but I have my floaty moments although I approach those with a rational mentality too. I believe in karma and meditation. And I read tarot. I think its a good mental exercise and fun party trick. But I don't believe they predict the future, they just help you focus your thoughts and reach conclusions about things you might not be completely decided about.

Other than that I have been known to be a bit philosophical and enjoy a good intelligent discussion. I avoid religion and politics like the plague, I almost never read the regular news just the science/tech (geek?) news and I dont watch tv, ever, although i follow several series via internet.
