I'm from the U.S. and a native of Memphis, TN. I arrived in South Africa a few years ago and have been living there off and on for the past five years (my husband lives there permanently). Anyway, I hope to get my permanent residence soon so I can live here permanently and work. I've only met two Americans since living in South Africa and they do as much traveling back home as I do, so it gets a little difficult to stay in touch. Anyway, I hope to meet some of you one day...It feels good to know someone from home...
