faisons connaissance

I am a 75 year young male who is becoming less and less tolerant of cold weather. Reno is located at the foot of the Siera Nevada mountains, the east side, and is at 4500' altitude. We have hot summers which I like but we have about 5 months of cold, by my standards, weather. My thoughts are to explore Panama to see if I could tolerate the constant warm weather. I do have a condition of the lungs, COPD, smokers lungs, and I need to find out if the higher humidity is something I could handle. Any input from anybody regarding their experience would be greatly appreciated. I have chosen Panama as I think the country would be easier for me to adapt to. I am attempting to learn a bit of the Spanish language but it does not come easy to me. I would like to know if the area around Penonome is an area that I should have interest in. I know it is not on the coast so my guess is that it might be more tolerable for me. I can live without all the bells and whistles that are here in Reno but I do like the access to easy shopping for groceries and eating out on occassion. Also is it easy to find a place to stay for a period of time, say 2 months or so for a reasonable cost. I would like that a lot. A room in someones home or ????? I am open to just about anything. OK so that is it for now, anyone who would like to contact me please do so, sailorman7x7@yahoo.com

Je parle English, trying to learn some Spanish, hard for me.....

Mon anniversaire est le 18 Aout, je suis né en 1936
