About me

I'm an Irish girl and I've moved to Vienna with my Austrian boyfriend. Neither of us know many people in Vienna outside of work mates and old school friends of my boyfriend's, and we are keen to widen our social circle, which currently has more teachers [ my profession] and engineers [ his] in it than is possibly good for us! :) I work as an English language Native Speaker teacher in a Volksschule, having previously taught in Ireland for ten years, and I would be delighted to meet other teachers, and more importantly, NON teachers, to go for a coffee and a chat, or just a wee wander around the city. I speak English, Irish, and understand some German when people speak slowly to me, and I am working on improving my own spoken German. Therefore, I am also open to language exchanges, cinema evenings, or any activity where I can have a nice chat with someone new!
