I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am Canadian, and I would like to live in the Philippines. I am currently in Ottawa.

About me

I am a teacher soon to be
retired - July 2011. I plan on travelling to soth east asia in July of 2010 perhaps for the summer to do some exploring. While freinds have recommeneded Malaysia I have read some good things about the Philippines so that may be my first choice. I have adequate pension etc. I may be going solo as my wife's intersts and mine are diverging.

My birthday is on 18 July, I was born in 1952
