G'day! Presently I am attempting to compile my family history via food - hence traditional Latvian & Australian Cuisine. Hopefully I will have this completed before my 85yrold Latvian/Australian mother passes over. My parents immigrated to Oz in 1948 - my mother from Rezekne & my father from Leipaja. However I am stuck! Is there any Oz expat out there in Latvia that can tell me how/where/who I can get information from, such as: what vegetables, fruits, herbs, meats, alcohol etc were commonly consumed prior to WW2?
