born and raised in Brussels,worked in Ghana for red cross and after that freelance as a researcher for different non gov agencies. saw an add in a magazine about tropical paradise called Guyana in South-America,and huge gold deposits being present there.(i always was excited by gooooooold !!!) decided to start business there,didn't work out,met a girl from neighboring Suriname and have been living there for 6 years now,operating a small restaurant in Paramaribo and an alluvial mining operation in the interior.
