Hello from Hispania

Trying to figure out exactly what it means to be an adult while adjusting to life in a new country and a new continent and squeezing in as much travel as humanly possible!

I am currently living in Spain since September 2008

My life & projects in this location:

Trying to grow up without letting myself get bogged down by Spanish bureaucracy. Exploring the wonders of Galician culture. Getting acquainted with my own Spanish roots.

My occupation:

Student on a short sabbatical.

What I like about this destination:

The land in all its splendor. I'm a hop away from three rivers, five minutes away from the mountains and an hour away from the ocean! Everything here is green and alive and everyone seems to have a strong connection to farming and animal husbandry.

What I don't like about this destination:

The city, though beautiful and peaceful, can sometimes be too peaceful for this big city boy. Also, the people in northern Spain tend to be a bit cold to outsiders until you get to know them, which can take some effort.
