About me

Hi I am living in Shropshire, about to move to Cotes-de-Armour in Brittany.
Currently working as a staff nurse on a acute cardiac ward, my husband is a window fitter 2 yrs off retiring.
We have 5 grown up children, 3 about to be 4 lovely grandchildren, We have toured France over the last 9years camping or as recently in our old faithfull campervan, we have loved visiting various areas and experiencing the French culture and laid back attitude of, I couldnt give a damn, so in love we decided to take the plunge sell up and live the good life before we're tooooo old!!
We have found a lovely house and land be it needs renovating, so we've swopped old faithful for a caravan, to spend 2010 learning to rebuild a 300 year cob house and set the land to grow what ever needed to keep us vertually self suffiecent,
The headaches are begining, organising storage, removal quotes, telling the boss 'youve just lost another nurse'(we,re fleeing in droves!!) and recieving the endless building quotes on our venture...do they think we are loaded in England and all have bottomless pits??? Decided We ARE going to do this ourselves, hopefully this is life rewarding...we DID this.
Well thats me, must go and ring a few more removal companies, its begining to look like lottery wins the amounts Im being quoted.
