Spanish, original from Madrid. I left my country because I wanted know other countries, and also seeking for better work perspectives. I started in metropolitan France, first in Nancy, then Montpellier, and finally I took an internship opportunity to study ants in French Guiana in 2011. These little social animals have been my passion for years, and their diversity in French Guiana is astonishing, so I've stayed here ever since. French Guiana is the perfect destination for those looking to feel in contact with nature, and without attachment to cities, malls etc. Canoeing, trekking, and wildlife observation are the good things to do here. There also some party events like carnivals, etc.
