My name is Sophia, I am 23 years old and I moved to Hungary about three years ago. I was raised in Germany, yet my father is Hungarian and my parents have raised me bilingual. I spent my 4th High School year in Kentucky, USA, where I took part in an exchange program, thanks to that experience my English is very good. I am a MA Student at ELTE University in Budapest, where I do an European Master in Conference Interpreting with the language combination of Hungarian, German, and English. I am mainly looking for part-time jobs, especially babysitting. I have babysitted with a Japanese family one year ago, where I was also in charge of teaching the two kids (boy-5, girl-6) some English. Last summer I spent three months in Sevilla, Spain, where I worked as an Au-pair watching three small boys (1,5; 3,5; 6). I therefore also acquired a basic level in Spanish. During my BA studies in Budapest I have had a part-time job at IBM in the HR department, but due to my much more demanding Masters degree I would like to reduce work hours and I am now looking for a new job.
