About me

we are both retired and looking for a place to journey to that will allow two persons, who are physically active, to enjoy island life. we are not looking for five star. we are middle class and proud of it. the possibility of moving to an island is possible, but not emminent. we would also like to mingle with the natives and learn their culture. also, not interested in a resort or near a cruiseship area. the island of roatan seems to be the ideal location. first, we would like to visit this island to get vision of what to expect and learn a little abouit the locals.
