About me

My name is Milena and I've recently experienced Cuba for the first time and instantly fell in love. The culture, the people, the climate—it's all so beautiful. I'm a graphic designer in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and consider myself very lucky that I can pack-up and take my business with me wherever I go. Ideally, I'll be able to make contacts in Cuba to set-up job opportunities when I get there, but I'm working at learning to speak Spanish right now so I may be limited to English work for some time. I'd appreciate any advice fellow Canadians can give me about the transition from our country to another; and any particular difficulties you've faced. Thank you for your help!
