My path

About me
I am originally from Houston, Texas. Met my husband, who is a Dane and was living in Houston for 6-years, at an Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy concert. We married a year later and moved to Denmark.
It's still a bit strange living abroad, a little over 2-years now, and learning the language is well... a slow process. I have to admit though, that do miss home with it's variety of food and people. Enchilidas, refried beans, carnitas, tomatillos, fried okras, and so on... (SIGH)
Hmmm... the bright side of ALL of this is that I'm an hour and a half away from London.
I REFUSE TO EAT HERRING!
I can speak English, Spanish, French, and starting to speak Danish
My birthday is on 23 October, I was born in 1969
Interests
bizarre oddities, hot peppers, music, photography, traveling

Denmark
West Sjælland
I am currently living in Denmark since August 2007
My life & projects in this location:
Currently, all I do is work... and then off to language school. Boring! Nothing much to do in my town.
My occupation:
I clean a school full time. Other than watching the kids make a fool of themselves, it's a dull job.
What I like about this destination:
There are some good things about my decision to move. I like the fact that crime is at a minimal. It's extremely clean, we live just around the corner from several grocery stores. It's also nice to know that my 15-year old daughter has a higher chance of getting a good education. Not a bad deal.
What I don't like about this destination:
One thing that I don't like about living here is the fact that everyone looks like everyone else. Even the expats are starting to merge into the usual. It FREAKS me out! Also, why does everything have to close so early? Sucks!

USA
Texas
I lived in the USA from October 1969 to August 2007
What I liked about this destination:
Liked: 24-hour Walmarts, shopping malls, Home Depot, Barns & Noble, Texas Renaissance, The Houston Zoo, my family, Mexican Restaurants, etc... (SIGH)
What I didn't like about this destination:
Hated: Traffic, working long hours, high crime, racism, and the heat. It was way too hot.
