paradise

I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am Australian, and I would like to live in Indonesia. I am currently in Perth.

About me

Hi, my husband and I currently reside in Hamelin Bay, Western Australia - a paradise in itself.
However we are very adventurous and would love to look at the prospect of living in Bali.
We have been to Bali many times, but only for 2 weeks at once.
We are coming over in March 2010 and will be spending 8 weeks as we really would like to meet up with some expats and discuss the ins and outs, etc.
I am a qualified trainer in most software packages, business writing, etc.
My husband is a carpenter and can build a house from top to bottom.
Hopefully someone can give us advise.
