I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am American, and I would like to live in Italy. I am currently in Hilo, Hawaii.

About me

We are currently living in Hilo, Hawaii.  We have been in Italy 4 times and the last 2 times were in 2006. We have friends in Barga, Tuscany, Italy, and Martina Franco, Taranta, Puglia, Italy and also know the Vergato, Emilio Ramagna, Itly area.

We are leaving Hawaii and our interest in moving to Italy remains high.  We are interested in the American Expat experiences of moving to Italy.  We have Certificato Di Attribuzione Del Numero Di Codice Fiscale from the Vergato, Bologna, area already.

We will appreciate any and all information regarding moving, residency, health services and needs and thank you in advance for your information.
