About me

Arrived in Guimaras,near Iloilo, in mid-July 2009 from a small town in central Illinois called Auburn. I retired from AT&T after almost 30 years, and decided to move with my wife Melinda to her home island so she could be back with her Mom and Dad and nieces and nephews. Since I have plenty of spare time, I decided to take up blogging, and enjoy writing in it daily. I just try to present a view of every day life as I see it from my perspective. My wife loves it here, I am still trying to adjust, but that is a day-to-day process.
