I'm originally from Reading, England, then went on to live in SE London, graduate at Liverpool, and most recently, Bristol, before moving out to Toulouse when Airbus lured my (ex) man out here.

Expat experience
Am currently taking care of my son, (born 2014 in Toulouse), while seeking employment.
The weather. Markets.
Work work work.
KTV Cheap taxis. Eating with chopsticks!
The pollution and black dust which sits on everything & never gets washed away as it rarely rains. Smoking in public places. Can't figure out how to get hold of organic cheese & eggs.
Unsuccessfully trying to get work at the Airbus CE. Completing my TEFL course.
The weather. It's an old city steeped in history. La Garonne and its bridges.
Customer care - are they being paid to serve us?? The price of shoes and beauty products.
Working at Airbus.
Very green, and very cool new agey vibe.
The hilly landscape can be a challenge if you're getting around by bicycle.
