About me

In 2006 I moved here with my husband, my parents (both in their 80s), 2 dogs and 2 cats. We've lived in the San Ramon area now for over 5 years and have loved it. It's been a great experience and one we're now looking forward to continuing part-time as we make our "home base" back in the U.S. to be near our granddaughter. I'm a writer (Unraveling the Mysteries of Moving to Costa Rica, available on Amazon and bookstores everywhere) and enjoy helping people figure out if moving to Costa Rica is a good choice for them. I'm an avid cook and beginning food blogger, along with the Costa Rica blog. I still live with my husband, mom (who has Alzheimers), 2 dogs and 1 cat.
