I'm currently living in the US where I have a small historic restoration business, but am planning to move to Morocco (Marrakesh) on a part time basis. I recently bought an old house in the Medina, and am working to restore it to a habitable condition before moving. I am slowly learning the ways of the Moroccan culture and making friends and contacts, but I need to learn Darija and improve my French. I'd like to meet both expats and locals in and around Marrakesh, and find ways to become more linked to the community.
