I am American, and I am now living in Germany. I am currently in Emden.

Hi I was born in Bloomington, Minnesota and moved to Haugesund, Norway to be with my husband in 1993. We are soon moving to Emden for a few years because of my husband's work.

Looking for help in finding language courses and any assimilation advise!

I can speak English (Minnesoda dialect, southern accent and queens english), Norwegian Bokmål with Haugesund Dialect, and french for the hungry

My birthday is on 26 August, I was born in 1968

Expat Hausfrau looking for good clean fun in the German countryside! I am dutiful wife following my husband around where ever his job takes him! This is my second "follow me" adventure this time to Emden, Germany! Hubby and me We have a permanent residence on the west coast of Norway, in Haugesund. My husband is from this area and I was born and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota in the USA. We love canoing, sailing, fixing up old things. I like fixing up houses and furniture and he likes old German cars, specifically Porsche. Emden is a great place to do all these things! It is not always easy being the tag along and trying to find something entertaining to do. This blog is one of my projects to keep me out of the mall and generally out of trouble!
