I am American, and I am now living in Uganda.

About me

I will be moving to Uganda in April '12 from Los Angeles, California. We won't be able to take much of anything, so at this point I'm wondering what shall I take given the space and wait will be so little. We will be looking for a place to live, hopefully somewhat nearby to some of you other expats.

My birthday is on 8 January

volunteer work, haven't looked for one yet

My occupation:

clinical social worker; mental health with children

What I like about this destination:

I have visited Uganda before with my boyfriend. I'm looking forward to returning there for good in March.

What I don't like about this destination:

I'll miss my family who will be far away in Los Angeles.

What I liked about this destination:

The weather is good. There is good entertainment.

What I didn't like about this destination:

traffic, expensive living
