I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am Filipino, and I would like to live in Switzerland. I am currently in Manila.

About me

I am from the Philippines and currently in search for an opportunity to work in a German- speaking country so that I can practice my skills in German. I am a college graduate and finished a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am now working for a well known Global Law Firm but based in Manila.

I am in need of advices how to get there since I heard that it is challenging for a non- EU third country national to reach Switzerland. I am currently working for the Human resources and wondering if there is a way that I can get myself employed there.

I am also open to study Fashion Design there but I have not found a school that really helps out in getting a permit/visa. Based on what I just mentioned, I am currently as student of Fashion Design in my country and would be happy to continue that somewhat in a country that has German as its language.

Hope to meet people who can give me tips about my current situation. Currently, an employer wishes me to work for him in Switzerland. I was fine with the fact that he wanted me to work as an Au Pair but at the same time help him out with office work. We are having problems with these two jobs. Need Help! Visa is so hard to figure out.
