faisons connaissance

I'm from Flint, Michigan, teaching American Studies and Spoken English at a University in Shanghai for the 2009-2010 academic year.  I'm English-speaking but learning Mandarin.  I'm excited about teaching this coming academic year, getting to know my students, and exploring Shanghai as well as the surrounding regions.  I'm interested in creating community not only with those on my campus, but also with others like myself, expats to China.
