Introduction

I'm a children's librarian. My husband, Kenny, is a painting contractor. We have 7 grown children(4-mine/3-his)and 3 grand-daughters. I'm looking for a better life than what will be available in the U.S. in the near future. I am considering Belize and New Zealand. I'd like to move as soon as possible!

I was orginally looking at Costa Rica, then a friend told me about Belize as a safe haven in the event the US economy self-destructs, and the US dollar hyper-inflates.

The people, climate, and topography, culture, and cost of living.

The pot holes, no shopping centers, speed bumps, no beach, isolation and culture shock.
