I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.I am American, and I would like to live in Czech Republic. I am currently in Chicago, IL.

About me
I am fulfilling a long desire to live abroad because I can and feel thats where I need to be. I have four countries in mind: UK, Germany, Czech Republic, and northern France. This is great that I found a blog about expat who lived abroad and can communicate in tips and experience. At this time I teach the US Constitution and ESL.
My birthday is on 7 December

I would like to live in France
My occupation:
I teach English as a Second Language and the U.S. Constitution but I would like to teach English in France as well.
What I like about this destination:
I love to read how other Americans are living within France and loving it. That inspires me a lot because I understand the challenges the language may have but its a great possiblity for me to live and possibly settle down to make a decent living.

What I like about this destination:
Everything that I read so far. It appears that this is city that revitalized itself to become a great destination for work. But I would like to know what is living in the UK like with the recession? What industries are hiring? What are the living expenses?

What I like about this destination:
Everything from my research. It appears that Prague is always looking for teachers within their city. I would like to move there to live and possibly settle down if the time is right.
