I'm a CheeseHead Mom-Entrepreneur living with my Dutch husband and two young sons in Bujumbura, Burundi. We move every few years and so far I've lived in Ivory Coast, France, Yemen, Democratic Republic of Congo, New York City (as a foreign posting for my husband) and now Burundi. My favorite thing about living abroad, as opposed to just visiting new places, is getting to really know a country - its culture, customs, foods, where to go to have a couch made, the best tailor, oh, I could go on. I started the One Globe Kids international story series so children everywhere could "meet" real kids around the world even before they're able to travel.
