My path
USA
Wellington
I would like to live in the USA from February 2009
My life & projects in this location:
Studying Law and Commerce at Victoria University of Wellington
My occupation:
Student but also part-time work on the side in retail and sports coaching
What I like about this destination:
It's home. The diversity of the city that is still small enough that I'm never more than 15 minutes away from the centre of town yet is big enough to have it's own distinct areas. The cafe culture, the nightlife, the university facilities, the sporting events. The fact that I can sip a flat white by the sea in the morning and be on top of a mountain in the afternoon. Having native bush on my street.
What I don't like about this destination:
Distance to other countries! Cost of getting to another country! Television isn't as good after having the BBC either!

England
Somerset
I lived in England from January 2008 to December 2008
My life & projects in this location:
Took a gap year working at All Hallows Preparatory School, near Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Travelled around in the holidays.
My occupation:
Residential Gap Assistant. I coached sport (rugby, hockey, cricket and swimming) during the day and worked in the boarding house in the evenings.
What I liked about this destination:
How cheap and close it was to get to Europe. Saw so many cool countries and cities. The people I met. The random nights out. The independence.
What I didn't like about this destination:
School was in the middle of nowhere to be honest and the buses to the local train station from the school ran once an hour and stopped at 6pm.

Australia
Perth
I lived in Australia from April 2003 to December 2006
My life & projects in this location:
Moved with the family
My occupation:
Student
What I liked about this destination:
The weather mainly.
What I didn't like about this destination:
The sprawl of Perth. Perth seemed to be a kinda odd place ay. Like yeah nice beaches and stuff but not always the most happening of places. Feels like the rest of Australia forgot about it? The distance to go ANYWHERE from there. The summers were way to hot. Don't like 40c!
