Introduction

My name is Ron R., hence the user name "Ironron", I enjoy lifting weights, the feeling of getting & being bigger physically, and the challenges & pain that are included in this lifestyle. I was born here in California, USA. For the last decade I have been impressed and obsessed with the continent of Africa, focusing on Ghana, which will undoubtedly be my home soon. Without trying to appear "crazy" or maybe just off a bit, I have truly received a message from God in my heart and mind that Ghana IS the place I will spend most of the remainder of my life. My wife is very willing to join me, and now she is at the point where she has joined me in the excitement of moving & living in another country far away. Mentally, I am completely prepared to do this. I have committed hours of my personal time to research, job/career seeking, lifestyle, medical, etc., and the real meaning behind it all is due to life fulfillment, and I will not be fulfilled until I am there! In addition to fulfillment of my own life dream, I badly want to help people in Ghana. I have not narrowed down my definition of "help people" currently, but it IS a start, and I DO know where I'm headed to! I have learned that Ghanaians are a happy, giving people & society, and except for the color of my skin, which means zero to me, I will fit right in. I believe this will take time. Maybe years - but I will fit in at some point, and will do whatever it takes TO fit in. Eventually, I want to denounce my US citizenship, and become a Ghana Citizen - what an honor! No apologies to the USA. None. I am not impressed by our governments over-regulation of (practically everything) entreprenuers and start-ups, or any small to medium businesses they have stuck their greedy noses in. Leave people alone! Ghana is for me. I have been quite impressed with Ghana as a very politically-stable country, especially in relation to other African countries. I firmly believe John Atta Mills, and his predecessors were and are honest people, and I am looking forward to enjoying a government based on integrity, and one that actually supports people that desire and implement all aspects that go into starting a business, including "micro-loans", which is unheard of in the US. I WILL be living in Ghana. I am giving myself two years, so I will be flying in for good at the age of 46-47, and will begin the second-half of my life where God wants me to be. God Bless Ghana and it's people. Thank you!
