About me

Born in Cambodia during that turmoil period; my family was able to escape to Thailand and was then sponsored to Canada (barely, isn't a day that goes by that I don't get reminded). Not that I don't love Canada, it's wonderful.. but honestly after 30+ years of Canadian cold winters it really starts to wear you out. I have a permanent visa and I'm considering spending A LOT more time here, as I've been here many times before as well as have relatives and ties to this country. My parents have been supporting their village financially ever since they set foot on Canadian soil trying to help them improve their standard of living, encouraging education and funding facilities. currently in Bangkok, Thailand.
