I am from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I have lived here (the city and the suburbs) all my life, including attending college and law school here. I went to the University of Pennsylvania Law Shool and the Wharton School of Business. I have practiced law here, and the surrounding area (including NJ) but have handled matters and appeared all over the world, especially Hong Kong and China. As my practice grew, so did my work in and dealing with foreign countries, especially Hong Kong and southern China. I love Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and desire to move there, full time or part of the year. I have helped American companies transact business there, as well as local companies transact business with Amercan companies. Do to my business education, experience, and close relationship with many of my clients, I handle as much of the "business" side of transactions as I do the "legal" side. I have an intellectual interest in both politics and recent history, which has lead me to read extensively. I found I was interested especially in China, her history (last 50 years) as well as other aspects of China. As a result, I have read extensively about China as well as used and extended my business trips to learn more about China by meeting contacts, friends, and travelling and visiting China. For example, I extended a week long business trip to Shanghai so I could experience the New Year, as well as visit with friends and professional contacts in Hong Kong and China over the Chinese New Year.
