My name is Bunga Andrew. I am a British citizen and I was born and raised in Jakarta. I am currently working at PT. Ocean Queen hotel as head of marketing and customer relations. I am fluent in both the English and Indonesian language and before going to university I took the initiative to teach English as a second language in Jakarta for a year and a half. I taught different levels of English from beginners, to intermediate, advanced, as well as business grammar and vocabulary. My work experiences have given me the opportunity to develop my creative, multitasking abilities, as well as my customer service/relations skills. My responsibilities as head of marketing include designing, writing and planning articles, e-newsletters and print advertisements. I am also able to create, write and update websites (www.batubesar.net and www.oceanquenresort.com). Other capabilities include creating building and floor designs for architectural developments. I have experience in hiring, managing, and training staff, as well as establishing and developing new ventures/business opportunites such as the Padi Breeze Spa and the Ocean Queen Cafe. My administration capabilities included answering telephones, replying to e-mails from customers, stake holders, and suppliers, taking bookings, and customer relations. Other capabilities include crisis management, public relations, interior design and translating legal documents from English to Indonesian and vise-versa. Through my studies and work experience I have learnt the importance of internal and external communications within the company. I have excellent skills in fostering and maintaining employee, employer, and customer relationships, that I believe are essential in the reputation, promotion, development, and efficiency of a company.
